Chenille is a popular body material is used on a wide range of fly patterns. Standard chenille is made from loose fibers spun into a thread core. It will unravel when cut. Standard chenille is best used for wet flies since it absorbs water. Comes in three sizes: Fine (hook #16 – #10), medium (hook #10 – #6) and large (hook #6 & larger).
