Silicone Flutter Legs are a solid color flat shaped strand that flutters in the current and wiggles on the surface. These legs from Hareline, last longer and move better than round rubber legs. The flat shape of the Flutter Legs is perfect for streamers and bass flies. These were the legs on the Mini-Me Popper Fly, Goldenrod.
Silicone is also more durable and able to withstand the elements better than standard rubber legs, so these will last you a long time. Silicone Flutter Legs also look great on wooly buggers and large dry flies. They might look somewhat bland by themselves but they have a great look on the fly pattern. Something said about being simple, clean, and a little “old School”.
