Silver Pheasant Body Feathers from Hareline are useful for cheeks and collar hackles. Used for the cheeks on Carrie Stevens type streamers, such as the Gray Ghost. Now dyed in a number of colors. This is an excellent collaring material for steelhead patterns. It is less stiff than guinea so it won’t protect the profile of the fly as much but it the colors and barring can be more appealing than guinea to some.

For “Victorian” flies lovers. Silver pheasant body feathers are white, barred 3/4 very thin black striations parallel to the quill shaft. Feathers length: 3.93-4.72 inches
