South Fork Kern 6

Description

South Fork Kern 6 covers the South Fork Kern between Monache Meadow to Templeton Meadow. Shows camping areas, trails, and creeks. Special Features are the Hatch Chart, Fish Identification, Fishing Season and Regulations, and Stream Etiquette guidelines.

The South Fork Kern 6 section has Golden Hybrids and Browns. The Golden Hybrids are about 70:30 mix of Rainbow genes. This hybridization occurred from past planting of Rainbows over the last 70 years. Barriers (Schaeffer and Templeton) were erected to keep out the Browns but the Browns have migrated past these barriers.
