Tapered Slip Strike Indicators from Hareline are designed for long leaders where the peg is released from the indicator once the “strike” is made and will allow the angler to reel up the leader without interference of the indicator. Great for deep midging.

Tapered slip strike indicators are a must for stillwater chironomid fishing and deep water nymphing.  No matter how long a leader you plan on running, these slip indicators hold tight to your mono or fluorocarbon during the cast and retrieve until you set the hook.  Once enough pressure is put on the indicator by the fish, these indicators will release and slide down the leader allowing you to net the fish.

Available in two sizes: Small (3/4″) and Medium(7/8″), and three colors: Fl. Red, Fl. Chartreuse, and Fl. Orange. Each package comes with four indicators.
