Dark Barred. Natural and Dyed colors. Teal Flank Feathers are used for tails and wings on a variety of different patterns. With distinct solid black and white bar-marks, teal flank feathers are also commonly used for throats and veils on classic Atlantic salmon and steelhead patterns. These feathers are also perfect for parachute style dry fly wings and in nymph patterns as legs and tails. They are a great substitute for wood duck feathers that can be hard to find at times.
