Uni Nylon Thread is a strong flat nylon thread that lays perfectly flat with minimal build-up. It splits quite easily allowing dubbing insertion so that a dubbing loop does not need to be constructed. Two sizes in 70 (200 yd spool) and 210 (100 yd spool) denier. Denier is defined as the weight in grams of 9000 meters of polyester, nylon or rayon threads. For most threads, a correlation between the breaking strain on most threads can be determined by denier, for example typically a 210 denier thread will be stronger than a 70 denier thread. Nylon thread also has a substantial stretch of about 25%.
