Uni Soft Wire XS

Description

Uni Soft Wire XS is now available. It is great for ribbing on small nymphs like midges and baetis patterns. The Uni Soft Wire XS (Extra Small) is a soft, colored copper wire that will not tarnish and will wrap very easily around the hook shank. Try this XS wire on your next Zebra Midges in size 18 or smaller.

Uni soft wire is an excellent choice whenever you need a wire ribbing or body on your flies. It’s offered in different sizes than the more common ultra wire: large (.032mm), medium (.024mm), small (.014mm) and extra small (.008mm). Large Uni soft wire is approximately the same as medium ultra wire, medium size Uni soft wire is approximately the same size as brassie size ultra wire.  Uni Soft Wire has less strength than Ultra wire but it wraps much more easily and is non-tarnishing.
